Maduro define os candidatos e os eleitores na Venezuela

O ditador da Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, está preparando cuidadosamente a farsa eleitoral, marcada para o dia 28 de julho. Ele não apenas conseguiu escolher os seus rivais, como também está selecionando os eleitores que poderão participar do pleito.
A cédula eleitoral, divulgada nesta segunda, 8, mostra a imagem de Maduro treze vezes (foto). Todos os rostos da primeira fileira são do ditador.
Isso ocorre porque a cédula, chamada de tarjetón pelos venezuelanos, traz sempre no primeiro quadrado, à esquerda, o candidato que tem mais partidos o apoiando. Em seguida, são colocados os demais partidos da mesma coalizão, com o seu candidato. No caso, Maduro.
Para votar na oposição de verdade, há apenas uma possibilidade: assinalar o quadrado de número E15, que mostra o rosto do diplomata Edmundo González Urrutia.
Urrutia não era a primeira opção da oposição. Nas primárias, quem venceu foi María Corina Machado.
Mas, como María Corina foi inabilitada por 15 anos e teve sete membros de sua campanha detidos, ela indicou a professora Corina Yoris.
Contudo, Corina Yoris não conseguiu se inscrever pelo site do Conselho Nacional Eleitoral.
Quem conseguiu fazer isso foi Urrutia, que é uma pessoa bem menos conhecida que María Corina Machado.
Maduro, assim, sai com larga vantagem na cédula, em que só aparecem homens e não há nenhum rosto famoso da oposição.
Eleitores
A ditadura também tem dificultado a participação de venezuelanos que vivem em outros países.
De uma população de 30 milhões de habitantes, cerca de 8 milhões deixaram o país para fugir da fome, da falta de perspectivas ou da perseguição política.
Para que essas pessoas possam votar, é preciso que elas estejam devidamente inscritas e habilitadas no registro eleitoral. No dia da votação, elas só teriam de apresentar um RG, válido ou não, em uma embaixada ou consulado.
Contudo, muitos venezuelanos estão descobrindo que não estão inscritos e precisam regularizar a própria situação.
Para tanto, eles precisam apresentar um documento de residência permanente e um passaporte válido. Mas muitos dos venezuelanos não têm esses documentos.
Maduro sabe que esses exilados tendem a votar na oposição e quer impedir que isso aconteça.
